Akuisisi Microsoft atas Activision Blizzard hanya ditentang oleh regulator dari Inggris bersama PlayStation. Sementara regulator lain yang menyetujuinya menjelaskan bahwa PlayStation masih bisa hidup tanpa Call of Duty.

Saat ini terdapat pemeriksaan fase kedua atas akuisisi tersebut dan masih belum ada pengumuman resmi terkait persetujuan akuisisinya.
