Saat ini pihak Fntastic menjelaskan bahwa mereka dalam proses untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini. Dari sini diputuskan dua hal: mereka tidak pasti akan rilis gameplay karena masalah ini dan akan menghubungi pengacara mereka.

Kedua adalah bahwa The Day Before akan ditunda perilisannya ke tanggal 10 November 2023 nanti.

Belum jelas apakah pernyataan ini benar adanya atau mengada-ngada seperti beberapa developer yang punya proyek mustahil namun punya banyak marketing dan omongan surga.
